Right well I don't know about you be food is a big thing for me at Christmas. I love all the traditional foods and its a perfect excuse to get in the kitchen get baking lovely things.
With that in mind the first pattern is this rather cute little Christmas pudding bauble for your Christmas tree. So even if you don't feel like baking you can adorn your tree with sweet treats.

Pudding
Starting in
brown yarn and make a magic ring and work 6dc into the ring. Six sts
Rnd 1: 2dc
into each st to the end. 12sts
Rnd 2: (dc
in the first st, 2dc in the next st) repeat to end. 18sts
Rnd 3: (dc
in the first two sts, 2dc in the next st) repeat to end. 24sts
Rnd 4: (dc
in the first three sts, 2dc in the next st) repeat to end. 30sts
Rnd 5: (dc
in the first nine sts, 2dc in the next st) repeat to end. 33sts
Rnd 6: (dc
in the first ten sts, 2dc in the next st) repeat to end. 36sts

white yarn and make a magic ring and work 6dc into the ring. Six sts

The next round creates the icing dribbled
edge.

Fasten off
and sew in place on the pudding.
Weave in and
sew off any loose ends.
Cut holly
shapes out of green felt and little rounds of red felt and glue in place to
decorate.
Add a
hanging loop with matching yarn if you want to use as a bauble.
