Advent calender day 18

Its another winter warmer today. This pretty lace scarf is made using iris stitch which is really simple and gives a great effect. I hope you enjoy this pattern :)

Sparkly lace scarf by Liz Ward

You will need;

Dk weight yarn in red with sparkles

5mm crochet hook

Wool needle

Stitches and Abbreviations (UK)

Ch - chain

Sl st –slip stitch

dc – double crochet

tr – treble crochet

ch 27

Row 1: (2tr, ch1, 2tr) in the 5^th ch from hook, *skip next three ch sts, (2tr, ch1, 2tr) in next ch st, repeat from * to last two ch sts, skip next st, tr in last last st.

Row 2: Ch 3, turn, (2tr, ch1, 2tr) in each ch space along row, end with 1tr in last ch space.

Repeat row 2 until the scarf measures 150cm

Fasten off and weave in any loose ends.
